Please Don’t Pray For My Soul

I find cemeteries peaceful. I’m often happier surrounded by headstones rather than the living.
I find the concept of morbidity puzzling. Acknowledging thoughts about our mortality seems to shatter a social taboo.
Love, reason and consciousness of the inevitable are what separate us from most other beings. The exploration of these is what continues to drive our evolution.
The day I became comfortable with my own mortality was the day I began a new life without walls.
